The Ninja Covenant

I watched Last Samurai (damned good movie) a while ago, and for some reason the following came to mind. It's got nothing to do with samurais or bushido, obviously. I think it's really cool though.

The Ninja Covenant

I will vanish into the night,
change my body to wood or stone.

I will sink deep into the earth,
walk through walls and locked doors.

I will fly like a bird or become a fish and live underwater.

I will be killed many times,
Yet I will not die.

I can change my face and become invisible,
and I'll walk among you, without being noticed.

I am a Ninja and my way is Ninjutsu
